Jack (22-1-2-KO13) is only fighting in the higher weight class for the second time, having taken the WBA title from Britain’s Nathan Cleverly last August in Las Vegas.

Joshua Buatsi breaks down Adonis Stevenson v Badou Jack and shares his fight prediction.

The Sweden-born fighter has since given up that belt and it will be Stevenson’s WBC title on the line, one which he has held since beating Chad Dawson all the way back in 2013.

Saturday’s fight marks the 40-year-old’s ninth WBC title defence, one of those having seen him knock out Tony Bellew in December 2013.

“Anything he brings, I’m ready,” Stevenson said. “I’m going to win by knockout.”

But Jack was also in confident mood after the weigh-in was completed at The Rec Room, as he said: “I’m just going to go in there, be smart and win the fight. Hopefully by knockout.”

Watch Adonis Stevenson’s WBC title defence against Badou Jack in Toronto on Sunday May 19, from 2.30am, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action.
