Raheem Sterling should have doubled Manchester City's lead – take a look at his shocking miss!
Raheem Sterling produced a miss-of-the-season contender as Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Danilo had put Pep Guardiola’s side on course for victory with a sublime strike after 22 minutes and Sterling had the chance to seal all three points late in the game.
However, Sterling spurned a gilt-edged chance to put the game beyond doubt, with the winger shooting wide from inside the six-yard box following Kyle Walker’s cross.

That was the stroke of luck Burnley needed and they grew in confidence, eventually earning their reward through Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
Eight minutes from time, the Iceland international raced onto Matt Lowton’s cross-field ball and touched past Ederson to punish Sterling’s miss and hand his side a valuable 1-1 draw.
